Presented in detail below are the profiles of the mission schools and parishes, description of the communities and Lumad (indigenous peoples) they serve, the student population as well as their infrastructure, equipment and material needs.

Cabanglasan Mission

A.      COMMUNITY PROFILE
1.      Cabanglasan is a 3rd class municipality with population of 34,000; indigenous peoples – Umajamnen; local languages – Binukid, Umajamnen, Visayan
2.       Mode of transport: bus, jeepney, motorcycle
3.       The hinterlands are accessible only by walking; no electricity and no telecommunications
B.      FATHER LEONI MEMORIAL SCHOOL
1.       Established in 1981; student population – 581, 20% indigenous people; 17 teachers
2.       Enrolment profile: Junior HS – 469; Senior HS – 112, academic tracks – general academic strand, humanities and social sciences
3.       School needs equipment and materials for:
  • Library, science lab, computer room, technology and livelihood education, offices
  • Sound system, fire safety and protection, building maintenance tools and supplies
  • Campus ministry and chaplaincy (sacramentary, altar, organ, guitars)
  • Campus fence and gates

C.      NUESTRA SENORA DE GUADALUPE PARISH AND FATHER LEONI MISSION FOUNDATION

1.       The parish needs financial support for

  • Literacy program for 6 villages – Miaray, Tagbacan, Mandahican, Saluringan, Maraguing, Patulangan
  • Dormitories for Lumad (indigenous people) students – 35 (Cabanglasan town proper), 16 (Bendum village), 12 (scholars in college)

Miarayon Mission

A.      COMMUNITY PROFILE
1.       Miarayon is a barangay of Talakag, a 4th class municipality; a community of about 5,000 families of indigenous peoples - Talaandig (80%), Dumagat (15%), Maranaw Moslem (4%) and Igorot (1%) comprising; local languages – Binukid, Visayan  
2.       The Miarayon region has limited access to water supply. Electricity is available, except in a few sitios. Internet access is unreliable due to lack of strong network signal. 
B.      ST. THERESE SCHOOL OF MIARAYON
1.       Established in 1997; student population – 456, 95% indigenous people; 17 teachers
2.       Enrolment profile: Junior HS – 389; Senior HS – 67, academic track – general academic strand
3.       School needs:
  • Faculty and staff training (teachers, librarians, computer technicians, NC2 qualification)
  • College scholarships for senior HS graduates
  • Building and facilities construction, renovation and completion (classrooms, dorm, canteen, covered walks, cisterns)
  • Transportation equipment (4x4 pickup, motorcyles)

C.      ST. THERESE OF CHILD JESUS PARISH
1.       The parish needs financial support for:
  • Catechetical program for parishioners in surrounding villages
  • Replacement of the church altar (gradually sinking)
  • Medical assistance for parishioners (very far from hospitals)
  • Refurbishing of the parish office and temporary chapels in several sitios
  • Purchase of liturgical vestments

Pangantucan Mission

A.      COMMUNITY PROFILE
1.       Pangantucan is a 1st class municipality; population – 53,000; indigenous peoples – Talaandig, Manobo; locallanguages – Binukid, Manobo, Visayan
2.       Mode of transport – bus, jeepney, motorcycle
3.       The hinterlands are accessible only by walking; no electricity and no telecommunications
B.      PANGATUCAN COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL
1.       Established in 1968; student population – 1099, 25% indigenous people; 33 teachers
2.       Enrolment profile: Junior HS – 821; Senior HS – 278, academic tracks – accountancy and business management, horticulture
3.       School needs financial support for:
  • Scholarship for Lumad (indigenous people) students
  • Computers for computer lab, equipment for science lab, sound system
  • Buildings and facilities construction – senior high school, canteen, covered walks, upgrading of zero-value classrooms
  • Water irrigation system for their agricultural school pilot farm

Zamboanguita Mission

A.      COMMUNITY PROFILE

1.       Zamboanguita is one of 46 barangays in Malaybalay City; population (2015) – 1,667; indigenous people - Pulangion and Higaonon
2.         Mode of transport – bus, jeepney, motorcycles
3.       The hinterlands are accessible only by walking; no electricity and no telecommunications

B.      ST. ISIDORE HIGH SCHOOL

1.       Established in 1990; student population – 504, 30% indigenous people; 13 teachers
2.       Enrolment profile: Junior HS – 415; Senior HS – 89, academic tracks – general academics strand, accountancy and business management, humanities and social sciences
3.       The school needs financial support in:

  • Faculty training; scholarships; lumad (indigenous people) dormitory operations
  • Work immersion program for grade 12 senior HS students in Cagayan de Oro
  • Science lab, computer room, library (educational materials and room improvement), sports equipment; disaster management (fire, earthquake, physical injuries)
  • Physical plant improvements (dormitory, canteen, technology and livelihood education room, classrooms, materials recovery facility
  • Financial support to reopen St. Isidore School of Agricultural Technology; its land is suitable to growing high value crops for agri-tech training; the facilities can serve as a learning center

C.      OUR LADY MARY MEDIATRIX OF ALL GRACE PARISH
1.       The parish needs financial support for:
  • Repair of several village chapels
  • Support for the indigenous people apostolate
  • Various formation programs (catechists, youth, parish workers, lay ministers)
2.      There are 5 chapels under the parish of Our Lady of Mary Mediatrix of All Grace which need help in repair and improvements: Jesus Nazareno in Nabag-o, San Lorenzo Ruiz in Namalusan, Santo Nino in Mahawan, St. Francis Assisi in Pangian, and the Nativity of May in Purok 6 Silae.
