Ateneo Alumni Association of North America Inc. (Northeast)

About Us - AAANA (Northeast) consists of active chapters in the US Northeast region. The Ateneo schools are represented by core members which include:

  • Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU): Roger Alama, Judith Puyat-Magnaye and Mary Antonio-Savic
  • Ateneo Alumni Northeast Inc. (ADMU): Carol Ramos, Cecile Sison and Cynthia Esquivel-Ilagan
  • Ateneo de Naga Alumni Association USA Northeast Chapter Inc. (ADNU): Joe de Jesus and Munding Arellano
  • Ateneo de San Pablo (ADSP): Nick Luna
  • Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AZNU): Jose Ramos
  • Ateneo Law School (ALS): Dean Suba, JT Mallonga and Merit Salud
  • Xavier University (XU)/Ateneo de Cagayan: Ana Docdocil and Larry Docdocil

The Group organized the All Ateneo Convention held in August 2014 at John Jay College in New York City, along with other volunteers in the Core Group/Organizing Committee.  It is expected that the All Ateneo Convention scheduled for 2020 will be held once again in New York or the Tri-State area.

AAANA (Northeast) does not have a formal structure.  For 2018, the following have been appointed to represent and help convene the group:

Meet and Greet Father Provincial

Members of the Ateneo Alumni Association of North America (Northeast) in support of the Philippine Jesuit Foundation hosted a Meet and Greet Event for visiting Father Provincial Jun Viray SJ (September 30, 2018 at the Fordham Lowenstein Center in NYC). He spoke about the Philippine Jesuit Apostolate - the guiding direction of their Roadmap to Mindanao, the ongoing rehabilitation of Marawi City, the schools and parishes of the Bukidnon Mission and the newly established Sacred Heart Mission in Dagatdagatan, Caloocan City.
